16mm reversal experimental motion picture
“the body revealed” was made in 1997 with a Bolex and 16mm black and white reversal film. O’Brien photographed four nude models, two female and two male, and used only a single 100 foot roll of 16mm reversal film, which lasts approximately 2 minutes and 45 seconds. The film was rewound and re-exposed multiple times according to a detailed plan.
